PWC Police make arrest in connection with Jan. 9. 2025 shooting.
Pageland Lane (VA 705) between US 29 and VA 234 will be closed, weather permitting, from 6 a.m. Monday, Sept. 21 through 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24 for emergency pipe replacement, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Online and paper applications for admission to the Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology (TJHSST) for the class of 2020 will be available beginning Monday, Sept. 21. TJHSST is the regional Governor’s School located in Fairfax County. Residents of Prince William County are eligible to attend. Application deadline is Oct. 16.

Congregation Ner Shalom will host a candidates night on Saturday, Oct. 10, from 7 to 10 p.m. A meet-and-greet with refreshments will be followed by a formal question and answer forum. Hank Silverberg, a freelance journalist and author, will moderate.
On Sunday September 27, 2015 Antioch Baptist Church in Haymarket will celebrate its 178th anniversary. The celebration will include guest speakers and musicians in the 11 a.m. service followed by a picnic on the church grounds.

The Office of Facilities Services for Prince William County Public Schools presented information on two sites and two building designs under consideration for the School Division’s 13th high school at the first of two community meetings Sept. 14. The presentation is posted to the Facilities Services website.
Learn about the broad range of opportunities available to PWCS middle school students at the upcoming Middle School Specialty Programs general information sessions. Representatives of specialty programs will be on hand at the Kelly Leadership Center Oct. 12 and 23 from 7–9 p.m. to answer questions and provide detailed information about their programs.
All candidates for legislative, constitutional and county offices running in the Nov. 3 general election in Prince William County will have an opportunity to mingle with prospective voters Sept. 22 at the Committee of 100 meeting.
