Northern Virginia airports receive funding from Va. Aviation Board

Airports in Manassas, Leesburg, Warrenton-Fauquier and Culpeper have received funding for projects from the Virginia Aviation Board, which is chaired by PWC resident Rod Hall.

On Monday, August 12, 2019, at 6:25pm, an officer of the Manassas City Police Department was on patrol in the 8600 block of Liberia Ave when approached by an adult male victim suffering from multiple suspected gunshot wounds.

Special police sting operation shuts down sex business at Manassas motel; nine charged

On August 8, 2019, detectives from the Prince William County Police Department's Special Investigations Bureau conducted a Commercial Sex Operation at a Manassas area hotel to combat the illicit demand and solicitation of commercial sex services which police say has a direct connection to human trafficking. Nine persons were arrested and charged with frequeting a bawdy place and soliciting prostitution.
