On March 28, 2020 at approximately 12:20 a.m., officers of the Manassas City Police Department responded to the 9500 block of Coggs Bill Drive for a report of a larceny and an assault. The victim was a pizza delivery employee.

Flying shoe strikes police officer in chest at Manassas area park

On March 29 at 9:50PM, Prince William County police officers responded to Rosemont Lewis Park located at 11000 Crestwood Dr. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a trespassing complaint. Patrick Pate has decided to close all City of Manassas buildings to the public effective immediately March 19 until further notice.

15 minute parking created in Manassas

City of Manassas is temporarily designating several parking spaces in the Historic Downtown as 15 Minute Parking Only to facilitate Pick Up and Delivery options during this Pandemic. The spaces will be clearly marked but include only the existing on-street parking along Battle and Main Streets between Church Street and the railroad tracks.
