According to Dominion Virginia Power, in 2015, scammers contacted nearly 2,800 Dominion Virginia Power customers, demanding fraudulent payments totaling more than $1.2 million. On November 9, detectives from the Prince William County Police Homicide Unit and members of the U.S. Marshal led Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force received information regarding the location of the two remaining suspects wanted in connection to the murder of Edwin Ivan Chicas.
