Manassas City Police arrest three men wanted in PWC armed robbery case

Armed Robbery *ARREST – On October 28, detectives from the Robbery Unit identified the suspects involved in the armed robbery which was reported to have occurred in the 8200 block of Community Dr in Manassas on October 27.

Following the investigation, detectives obtained arrest warrants for the suspects, identified as David Eduardo MALDONADO, Wilson Omar MENDOZA and Salvador Alexander REYES-CASTRO.

On October 29, MALDONADO and MENDOZA were arrested by Manassas City Police without incident. On November 3, REYES-CASTRO was arrested by Manassas City Police after the suspect left the Courthouse in Manassas.

Wilson Omar MENDOZA, 20, of 9195 Winterset Dr in Manassas
Both were charged with robbery, use of a firearm in commission of a felony and malicious wounding by mob

Armed Robbery [Previously Released] – On October 27 at 9:32PM, officers responded to the 8200 block of Community Dr in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 21-year-old man of Manassas, reported to police that he made arrangements to purchase marijuana from two acquaintances in front of an address in the above area. During the encounter, the two acquaintances and a third unknown man brandished firearms and demanded money. All three suspects struck the victim in the head with their firearms. The men took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the area on foot. The victim was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries. A police K-9 searched for the suspects who were not located. This incident was not random. The investigation continues.
