PWC Police investigate string or robberies and burglaries

Armed Robbery – On November 2 at 9:13PM, officers responded to the Sam’s Club located at 14050 Worth Ave in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a robbery. The victim, 36-year-old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he made arrangements to meet an unknown man in the parking lot of the above store to purchase a phone. When the man arrived, an argument ensued and the man displayed a handgun before taking the victim’s wallet containing an undisclosed amount of money. After the encounter, the man got into a vehicle and fled the area. No were injuries reported.
Suspect Description:
Black male, between 25 & 35 years of age, 6’0’’, 220lbs with a muscular build and black hair
Last seen wearing a gray shirt and unknown colored jeans

Vehicle Description:
Described as a silver four door sedan, possibly a Mercedes, with Maryland tags

Strong Armed Robbery – On November 3 at 12:07AM, officers responded to the 2300 block of McClellan Ct in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 13-year-old male juvenile of Dumfries, reported to police that he was in the area of Linden Park when he was struck in the face by an unknown man who took a pair of headphones before fleeing on foot. Minor injuries were reported. During the investigation, the victim refused to cooperate with the police, according to Officer Steven R. Mattos, police department spokesman.

Residential Burglary – On November 2 at 6:58PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 3600 block of Quantico Terrace Dr in Triangle (22172) to investigate a burglary. The resident of the apartment reported to police that the burglary occurred sometime between 2:45PM and 6:50PM. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the apartment. Entry was made into the residence through an unsecured front door. A car key was reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On November 2 at 8:20AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 9000 block of Acadia Park Dr in Bristow (20136) to investigate burglary. The victim homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred sometime between 1:00AM and 8:00AM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through a rear door which was found damaged. A cell phone and computer were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On November 1 at 1:24PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14600 block of Pinon Ct in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred sometime between 3:30AM and 1:20PM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through a rear window which was found damaged. No property was reported missing.

Commercial Burglary –- On November 1 at 11:48AM, officers responded to the Chickas clothing store located at 10366 Festival ln in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. The store manager reported that to police the business was burglarized at approximately 7:57AM that morning. Surveillance cameras within the store captured an unknown man entering the business through a rear door which was forced open. Once inside, the suspect took an undisclosed amount of money before leaving a short time later.

White male, approximately 22 years of age, 5’6’’ with a thin build
Last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, black shorts, dark colored shoes and a mask

PW Police report passenger dies from injuries sustained in an April 15 traffic collision

The investigation revealed the driver of a 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 Pickup truck was traveling westbound on Yates Ford Rd. approaching Evans Ford Rd. when a 1993 Buick Roadmaster traveling eastbound on Yates Ford Rd. entered the intersection in front of the truck’s path of travel. The truck and Roadmaster collided within the intersection. The driver and female passenger of the Roadmaster were transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. A Pug in the Roadmaster was declared deceased on scene.
