What police allege they found while investigating Nokesville home invasion

Armed Robbery | Residential Burglary – On Nov. 2 at 7:33AM, officers responded to the 12900 block of Free St in Nokesville (20181) to investigate a home invasion.

The occupant of the home, identified as a 22-year-old man of Nokesville, and an acquaintance, identified as a 23-year-old man of King George, reported to police that they were sleeping inside the home when four masked suspects entered the residence armed with guns.

Once inside the home, the men restrained one of the victims and assaulted the other. The men took an undisclosed amount of money and a video game console before fleeing the home on foot.

A police K-9 was used to search for the suspects who were not located. The suspects are believed to have fled in a vehicle. While conducting the investigation, officers located narcotics inside the residence. A search warrant was obtained and subsequently executed at the home by members of the Narcotics Unit, according to Officer Steven R. Mattos Jr., police department spokesman.

As a result of the search, marijuana, marijuana wax, a handgun and equipment consistent with drug production and distribution were allegedly located. The victims, identified as Nathan Elmore THOMAS and Richard Lee GERMAN Jr, were arrested without incident. This incident does not appear to be random. The investigation continues.
