The investigation revealed the driver of a 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 Pickup truck was traveling westbound on Yates Ford Rd. approaching Evans Ford Rd. when a 1993 Buick Roadmaster traveling eastbound on Yates Ford Rd. entered the intersection in front of the truck’s path of travel. The truck and Roadmaster collided within the intersection. The driver and female passenger of the Roadmaster were transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. A Pug in the Roadmaster was declared deceased on scene.
Prince William SPCA invites the community to come out for a special town hall meeting to discuss the Prince William County Animal Shelter on Tuesday, March 3 at 7 PM in Chinn Library’s Community Room.

Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT)has postponed a “pardon our dust” meeting Feb. 26 on a project to construct a ductbank that will carry new undergrounded utilities along Route 1 between Mary’s Way and Annapolis Way. When the meeting is rescheduled, residents can meet the project team to learn more about construction and traffic impacts expected to begin in March.
BEACON for Adult Literacy will hold a free training session on Saturday, March 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for adult volunteers who want to help the organization' s ESL (English as a Second Language) students.
