PWC Police make arrest in connection with Jan. 9. 2025 shooting.
Plans for a new elementary school proposed for a site off Chinn Park Drive in Lake Ridge will be discussed at a public meeting hosted by Prince William County Schools' Office of Facilities Services, from 7 to 9:30 p.m., at Beville Middle School, 4901 Dale Boulevard, Woodbridge.
Prince William County Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing, endangered juvenile, Daniel Wesley York. The investigation revealed that Daniel left his home located in the 12600 block of Monarch Ct in Woodbridge (22192) on November 29th between the hours of 9:30PM and 10:13PM and may be in need of assistance.

In an unique cooperative partnership between Fauquier County Department of Parks and Recreation and the Fauquier Community Theatre, the inside of the theatre building at Vint Hill is being renovated and will be ready for the patrons of FCT’s Christmas production of Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol, that opens next weekend on Dec. 4 for a three-weekend run.
On Nov. 30, from 7-8:30 p.m., Del. Richard Anderson will host an orientation night for prospective student participants in his "Future Delegate" program. The meeting will be held in Board of County Supervisors Chambers at the McCoart Government Center at 1 County Complex Court, Woodbridge, VA.

Kettle Run High School Guidance Director Sue Harmon will deliver the White House Christmas tree via horse and carriage on Nov. 27, the day after Thanksgiving. This is the fourth time in eight years her business has been chosen to make the delivery.

Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation (DRPT), in cooperation with the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA), has scheduled three public information meetings Dec. 8, 9 and 10 for the Washington, D.C. to Richmond Southeast High Speed Rail (DC2RVA) project. The reason for the meetings is to present the most feasible improvement alternatives for faster, more reliable intercity passenger rail service.
