Prince William County Schools says it has received reports of parents not receiving email alerts from the teacher calendars to which they have subscribed. The school division says its vendor "is working to correct the issue." To assist students with disabilities and their families in planning for life after school, the Prince William/Manassas/Manassas Park Transition Council will host its annual free Transition Fair on Saturday, March 18, from noon–3:30 p.m. at the Edward L. At approximately 1:50 a.m. on Feb. 15, 2017, Manassas City Police responded to the Seven Eleven located at 10299 Dumfries Rd, Manassas, for a report of an armed robbery. According to the store clerks, two male subjects entered the store wearing masks, and displayed a handgun demanding money. The suspects fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, last seen headed toward Winterset Dr.

Registration is taking place now for an eight-week session that begins March 13 at Northern Virginia Community College. Global Guardian, a global security and risk management firm that provides protection for people, infrastructure and communications, is expanding its corporate headquarters in Fairfax and adding 22 new jobs, according to a news release from the Governor's Office.

Old Centreville Road in Manassas has been reduced to one lane on the bridge over Bull Run to allow for rehabilitation work behind a concrete barrier, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation. Bridge traffic is now alternating each way via temporary signals. Drivers should expect delays until when the project is slated for completition.
