On July 31 at 5:01 p.m., Prince William County police investigators from the Crash Investigation Unit responded to Sudley Road / Campus Drive intersection at the entrance/exit for Northern Virginia Community College in Manassas (20109) to investigate a single vehicle crash. Five were hurt. The initial investigation revealed that a silver vehicle - attempting to turn onto Sudley Road from Campus Drive - disregarded a stop sign and caused a chain reaction crash, according to the police report.

On August 1 at 10:38PM, Prince William County police officers located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound when they responded to a residence located in the 14700 block of Arizona Ave in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shooting.
