Helen Sorto Zurita, a leading activist in the Manassas/Prince William community, will be honored on Saturday, July 28, for her leadership in the successful movement that resulted in residents of East End Mobile Home Park in Manassas being able to stay in their homes.

Shooting Investigation – On July 20 at 1:49AM, officers responded to the El Ranchon located at 13638 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shooting.

Juvenile, 16, has been charged with aggravated malicious wounding, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, discharging a firearm from a vehicle, and possession of a firearm by a minor.

QMT Windchimes in Manassas reports that it is donating the purchase of an Emergency Response Vehicle (ERV) to the American Red Cross - National Capital Region (NCR), according to a news release from the company. The Red Cross will use the ERV to serve the Prince William County area.
