Prince William County Public Schools has hired Albert Ciarochi III as associate superintendent for support services. Ciarochi has more than 25 years of experience in education, the past six years as assistant superintendent of operations for Henrico County Public Schools.

Former Astronaut Leland Melvin will be at Chinn Park Regional Library on Saturday, April 6, at 2 p.m. to talk to people about the value of sticking to it, something he's learned throughout his life, and sign books. Melvin, whose hometown is Lynchburg, VA, also is a former NFL player and the author of "Chasing Space: An Astronaut's Story of Grit, Grace, and Second Chances."

Detectives from the Prince William County Police Homicide Unit charged two additional suspects in connection to the 2017 murder of Miguel Angel RUIZ CARRILLO, according to Sgt. Jonathan Perok, police department spokesman. The victim’s body was discovered in the area of Nokesville Rd and Fauquier Dr in Nokesville on August 22, 2017 after he was initially reported missing to Fairfax County Police earlier that month.
