On May 14, 2019, investigators from the Prince William County Police Department's Crash Investigation Unit arrested the driver, identified as the accused, in connection to a fatal hit & run crash that killed a 17-year-old male in the area of Sudley Rd near Catharpin Rd in Gainesville on Sept. 22, 2018.

On April 30 at 4:49PM, officers responded to investigate a sexual assault that was reported to have occurred at Veterans Memorial Park located at 14300 Veterans Dr. in Woodbridge (22191) earlier that day.

This Saturday, May 11, Congresswoman Jennifer Wexton (VA-10) will host an open house for constituents from 9 a.m. to noon, at her Sterling district office so constituents can meet with staff and discuss navigating federal agencies, opening casework, etc.

The Barnes House has a rich history. Built in 1797 as a tavern, it is one of the county's oldest buildings. It has been moved twice, rebuilt and restored in 2017, and now sits at the Montclair Community Library. With the exhibits inside the house complete, it is ready for visitors.
