School Incident | Discharge of a Firearm – Police are actively on scene investigating a firearm discharge at Hylton High School located at 14051 Spriggs Rd in Woodbridge (22193).

Detectives with the Orince William County Police Department's Homicide Unit have confirmed the identity of the deceased as Angelo Kadro BLAKENEY, 23, of Washington D.C. The deceased had no known ties to the Prince William County area.

Prince William County's newest supervisor, Victor S. Angry, was sworn in April 11 to fill the Neabsco District seat on the Prince William Board of County Supervisors. Angry takes over the seat left vacant at the death of John D. Jenkins, who served on the board for 36 years before his death in February.

Today, April 10, the U.S. Senate unanimously approved a resolution introduced by U.S. Sens. Mark R. Warner and Tim Kaine (both D-VA) officially congratulating the University of Virginia men’s basketball team for winning the 2019 NCAA championship.
