Therapist sought in connection with sexual assault at Veterans Park

Sexual Assault Investigation – On April 30 at 4:49PM, officers responded to investigate a sexual assault that was reported to have occurred at Veterans Memorial Park located at 14300 Veterans Dr. in Woodbridge (22191) earlier that day.

The victim, a 19-year-old woman, reported to police that she went to the park to meet her therapist, identified as the accused. While at the park, the accused reportedly sexually assaulted the victim. The victim was then brought home by the accused where she immediately told a family member about the incident who contacted police.

On May 3, detectives from the Special Victims Unit obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Gary Alexander HORSEY. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.

Described as a Black male, 5’7”, 160Lbs., with black hair and brown eyes
Wanted for 2 counts of aggravated sexual battery
