On May 6, detectives from the Homicide Unit received confirmation that the victim located on April 29 near a drainage ditch in the area of Cotton Mill Rd and Griffin Ave in Woodbridge was Lizeth Yadira LOPEZ. Detectives are currently working in conjunction with the Medical Examiner’s Office to investigate the results of the autopsy

On Sunday, May 8th at 8:44 p.m., fire and rescue units were dispatched to a structure fire in a single-family home located in the 9000 block of Forestview Drive in Manassas, according to a news release from Prince William County Department of Fire and Rescue. Upon entry, firefighters discovered a fire in the attic and commenced suppression and extinguishment of the fire while searching for further fire extension.

A total of 1,876.4 pounds of expired or unused prescription medications were collected at three hospital locations in the greater Prince William County area during "Take-Back Day" on Saturday, April 30.

On May 6 at 1:07PM, officers responded to the BB&T Bank located at 12435 Dillingham Sq in Woodbridge VA (22192) to investigate a robbery. An employee reported to police that an unknown man approached the bank area then displayed a knife and demanded money. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the area on foot in an unknown direction.

On May 5, detectives from the Prince William County Police Department's Homicide Unit identified four suspects involved in the shooting death of Ishmael MANSARAY which occurred in the 14000 block of Darbydale Ave in Woodbridge on May 4. Following the investigation, the four suspects were arrested.

Homicide Investigation- On May 4th at 8:49PM, officers responded to the 14000 block of Darbydale Ave to investigate a shooting. When officers arrived on scene, it was determined that the victim had been transported from the scene to a nearby shopping center, according to Off. Steven Mattos Jr., spokesman for Prince William County Police Department.
