PW Police investigate fatal crash on US 1 in Woodbridge involving pedestrian

The investigation revealed the driver of a 2016 Honda CRV was traveling southbound on US Rt. 1 near Rosedale Ct. when the vehicle struck a pedestrian who was attempting to cross US Rt 1 (Richmond Hwy). outside of a crosswalk, wearing dark-colored clothing.

Man arrested near Potomac Mills in connection with Aspen Place incident in Manassas

Through a joint investigation March 3 with the Northern Virginia Gang task force, ATF, and the Manassas City Police Department arrest warrants were issued for Manuel Gonzalez for possession of a fire arm by a felon, use of a fire arm in the commission of a felony, shooting at an occupied vehicle, and discharge of a fire arm in public. The incident began around 1:30m p.m. with report of shots fired. Children were held at school.

The investigation revealed that the driver of a 2012 Toyota RAV4 was traveling eastbound from the Princeton Woods Shopping Center towards Wayside Dr when, for unknown reasons, the driver drove over the median and across the eastbound lanes striking two pedestrian signals.
