Ryan Ferrera is new principal for Battlefield High School in Haymarket
Ryan Ferrera has been announced as the new principal for Battlefield High School for the upcoming 2016-17 school year, according to a news release from Prince William County Schools and the BHS website.
Ferrera was previously a social studies teacher at Battlefield High School and moved on to become an assistant principal.
He is coming back to BHS after serving as an assistant principal at Woodbridge High School for the past six years.
He will replace Principal Amy Ethridge-Conti who is retiring.
