Victim transported to hospital for treatment of life threatening injuries

**INCIDENTS**

Malicious Wounding | Shooting Investigation – On May 12 at 2:45AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 9500 block of Hensley Rd in Manassas (20112) to investigate a shooting. Officers arrived at the home and located an adult male victim inside suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

Other occupants were in the home at the time of incident and were unharmed. The preliminary investigation revealed that possibly two suspects entered the home and shot the victim before fleeing. A police K-9 responded to the scene to search for the suspects who were not located. This incident does not appear to be random. Detectives from the Violent Crimes Bureau are continuing the investigation.

Armed Robbery – On May 12 at 5:02AM, officers responded to the Walgreens located at 14095 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. Employees reported to police that three men entered the business and approached the counter. The suspects displayed firearms and demanded money from the employees. The men took money from the registers and a safe before fleeing, possibly on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 responded to the scene to search for the suspects who were not located.

Suspect Descriptions:
Three black males, all reported to be in their late teens or early 20’s, around 6’02”, 180lbs with thin builds
• The first suspect was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, black pants, a lower face mask and black shoes
• The second suspect was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a mask, black pants, and black shoes
• The third suspect was last seen wearing a black coat, gray hooded sweatshirt covering his face, black pants, and black & white shoes

Attempted Armed Robbery – On May 12 at 12:33AM, officers responded to the area of Del Mar Dr and Dunbar Ln in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an attempted robbery. The victim, a 58 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was walking in the above when he was approached from behind by two unknown men. During the encounter, the one of the men demanded money and the victim heard, what he believed to be, a knife being extended. The victim was able to defend himself and the suspects fled. No injuries were reported and no property was taken. The victim was unable to provide police with a description of either suspect.
