Beginning Sunday night, April 28, weather permitting, a portion of the northbound and southbound I-95 general purpose lanes in Prince William County will have nighttime single- and double-lane closures until late fall.

Fatal Crash Investigation – On May 15th at 12:17AM, investigators from Prince William County Police Department's Crash Investigation Unit responded to the area of Dumfries Rd and Talon Dr in Dumfries (22025) to investigate a two vehicle crash, according to a news release from Officer Jonathan Perok, police department spokesman.

Loving, a motion picture based on the true story of Richard and Mildred Loving, a Virginia married couple who, in 1958, were arrested for violating a state law at the time prohibiting interracial marriage will be filmed in Virginia. The caller reported to police that Linda Sue Greenfield walked away from her home located in the 3400 block of Fort Lyon in Lake Ridge about 8:00 a.m. this morning, May 14. Ms. Greenfield is believed to have left voluntarily and may be in need of assistance which qualifies her as being endangered.
