Tonight, Nov. 16, from 6 to 8 p.m., the Commonwealth Transportation Board (CTB) will hold the fifth of nine public meetings across the commonwealth on prioritizing transportation projects. Tonight's meeting is at Virginia Department of Transportation's District office, at 4975 Alliance Drive, Fairfax VA 22030.
USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is now making $470,000 available through the Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) to help increase adoption of forestry practices across Virginia.

Six George Mason University students are bringing the Manassas Museum to the world in a new virtual tour now available on the museum’s website.
City officials in Manassas Park report that the city has contracted with Branscome Paving, Inc. to resurface Scott Drive beginning Tuesday, Nov. 17 and Evans Street beginning Nov. 18. Both projects end next Saturday, Nov. 21. Paving work hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. No parking areas will be posted.

This Saturday, Nov. 14, Prince William Republican Women’s Club will host an appreciation event for local law enforcement. The “We Love You Blue” rally will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Woodbridge to honor Prince William County Police Department, the Dumfries Police Department, the Prince William County Sheriff’s Department, and the U.S. Marshall Service.
