PWC Republicans set Law Enforcement Appreciation Day Nov. 14

This Saturday, Nov. 14, Prince William Republican Women’s Club will host an appreciation event for local law enforcement. The “We Love You Blue” rally will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Woodbridge to honor Prince William County Police Department, the Dumfries Police Department, the Prince William County Sheriff’s Department, and the U.S. Marshall Service.

The rally will take place at the Heritage Baptist Church Parking Lot and Pavilion (14510 Spriggs Road, Woodbridge, VA 22193).

The nonpartisan rally is open to the public, and family members of all ages are welcome. Coffee, hot dogs, hot cider, and donuts will be provided for attendees, sponsored by F. H. Furr Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning and Electrical.

At the rally, the public can explore Mobile Command Units, Patrol Cars, Police Motorcycles and Bicycles. The Sheriff’s Department will be providing free ID for children.

“This rally is a great opportunity for the community to show our police and law enforcement how much we value their hard work,” said Barbara Bush Republican Women’s Club President Connie Morrisey. “There will be lots of great activities for the whole family to enjoy, as well as get to know the police a little better.”

“We really appreciate our law enforcement here in Prince William County,” said Prince William GOP Chairman Bill Card. “Our area is blessed to have a committed police community that serves us with distinction, professionalism and honor. Our Women’s Clubs do an outstanding job with community service – this rally will be another great event spearheaded by them.”

The Barbara Bush Republican Women’s Club is one of four Republican Women’s Clubs within the Prince William County Republican Committee. The other three Clubs include the Bull Run Republican Women’s Club, Prince William Republican Women, and the Kings Highway Republican Women’s Club.
