How do you rate your child’s school and the education programs in the county? The Prince William County School Board wants to know. All parents or guardians of students enrolled in Prince William County Public Schools received a survey earlier this month. Due to school closings, the deadline to complete the survey has been extended until Friday, Feb. 5.

Manassas Park City Offices and the Community Center will be opening at 10:30am Wednesday. City services may be limited as offices may be understaffed. In addition, the hot tub at the community center will open at noon due to maintenance.

All Prince William County public schools will be closed on Wednesday, Jan. 27. Work is continuing in an effort to reopen schools 2 hours late on Thursday, conditions permitting. Any changes will be announced by 5:30 a.m. Thursday.

Department of Defense Services employees who live in eastern Prince William and work at the Mark Center in Alexandria can catch OmniRide buses locally and ride them to and from work beginning Monday, Feb. 1. The first day of operation will be a free fare day.

The listening session for The Pollinator Protection Plan in Warrenton scheduled for Tuesday, January 26, has been cancelled due to road conditions and will be rescheduled at a later time, according to Elaine Lidholm, spokesman for Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (VDACS).

Manassas Park City Schools have announced they will be closed Wednesday, January 27th. Following city snow policy, there will be no Preschool or Extended Care.
