Prince William police identify body found in Manassas retention pond – missing since Feb. 4

Detectives from the Homicide Unit have identified the body found March 29 in a retention pond in the 7300 block of Williamson Blvd in Manassas (20109). The victim was reported as missing and endangered on Feb. 4. Officer Nathan Probus, Police Department spokesman, said there is no public threat or need for concern as this incident does not appear to be random and no foul play is suspected at this time.

Facts and Dates: Process for choosing Virginia GOP delegates to National Convention

Virginia can send 49 delegates to the Republican National Convention in Cleveland. Under Party rules, all 49 delegates are bound proportionally by the results of Virginia's March 1 primary. Under Virginia GOP rules, it doesn't matter whether a candidate has dropped out, suspended his or her campaign, or asked for his or her delegates to vote for another candidate. On the first ballot, delegates are bound to those votes.
