On April 27, 2024 Prince William County Police Department crash investigators report they obtained arrest warrants for the driver of the truck who was involved in the fatal collision with a motorcycle rider that occurred in the area of Richmond Hwy. and Pine Bluff Dr. in Dumfries (22026) on April 24, 2024.
Stonewall Jackson High School is hosting an information session for those interested in attending the International Baccalaureate program for the 2015-16 school year and beyond on Thursday, Nov. 13 at 7 pm in the auditorium.

Friday, December 5 is the final date that Prince William County Public Schools will accept offers on the sale of Nokesville Elementary School. The building and about 10 acres are located on the village's main street, at 12625 Fitzwater Drive, Nokesville.
Shooting Investigation – On November 6th at 4:33PM, officers responded to the Wal-Mart located at 14000 Worth Ave in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a shooting. The investigation revealed that an unknown man entered the store and approached the jewelry counter. During the encounter, the man displayed a hammer in each hand and began breaking the glass jewelry counters.
Open registration for Northern Virginia Community College’s spring 2015 semester starts Nov. 17. Students can secure their classes while the most choices are available without paying tuition until Dec. 16. Starting Dec. 16, tuition is due by 5 p.m. on the next business day after registering.

On Monday, November 3rd, at approximately 1:00 p.m., fire and rescue units responded to a structure fire in a two-story single-family home located in the 3300 block of Burleigh Lane in Dale City. Upon arrival, fire and rescue units observed smoke and fire emanating from the structure’s rear basement door.
