The investigation revealed the driver of a 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 Pickup truck was traveling westbound on Yates Ford Rd. approaching Evans Ford Rd. when a 1993 Buick Roadmaster traveling eastbound on Yates Ford Rd. entered the intersection in front of the truck’s path of travel. The truck and Roadmaster collided within the intersection. The driver and female passenger of the Roadmaster were transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. A Pug in the Roadmaster was declared deceased on scene.

Prince William Committee of 100 will host its monthly dinner and program on Thursday, March 19 at the Wyndham Garden, 10800 Vandor Lane, Manassas, VA. Prince William County hazmat crews smelled petroleum and saw a suspected petroleum product in the tributary feeding into Lake Linden, a storm water management pond, off Williamson Blvd. in Manassas this morning, March 10, according to a news release from Prince William County Fire & Rescue.

Alyson A. Satterwhite, vice chairman of the Prince William County School Board, and Gil Trenum, Brentsville District school board member, will hold a town hall meeting in Haymarket Elementary School’s Story Room on Tuesday, March 17 at 7 p.m. to discuss the school budget.

Suspects wanted in connection with Jan. 17 attempted armed robbery, Feb. 1 armed robbery and March 1, 2015 strangulation were arrested recently by Prince William County police, according to Officer Jonathan Perok, public information officer for the police department.
