The horse was not vaccinated for WNV and has recovered. Symptoms included loss of control of bodily movements and partial paralysis in the hind limbs, dazed appearance and lack of ability to stand.

Commercial Burglary *ARRESTS – On June 10, Prince William County Police Department detectives with the Property Crimes Unit were notified by the Town of Woodstock Police Department that a vehicle reported stolen from Malloy Hyundai in Woodbridge had been recovered with several suspects inside. Seven were arrested.

Gov. Ralph Northam announced Aug. 14 that Sumitomo Machinery Corporation of America (SMA) will make a multi-million dollar investment in new machinery at its manufacturing operation in Augusta County in the Shenandoah Valley.
