Tonight, Tuesday, August 2, the Prince William County Police Department will observe the National Night Out celebration. On June 15, 2022 detectives with the Prince William County Police Department's Violent Crimes Bureau were notified that the man who was shot in the Cheshire Station Plaza located in the 4400 block of Cheshire Station Plz. in Woodbridge (22193) on June 14, died as a result of his injuries sustained during the incident. The preliminary investigation revealed a transaction was arranged to occur at the above location between the deceased and his acquaintance with three other men. At one point during the encounter, one of the other men fired multiple rounds which struck the deceased in the upper body. No additional injuries or property damage were reported.
