INCIDENTS
• Brandishing of a Firearm | Road Rage Related – On August 9 on 1:55PM, officers responded to the area of Richmond Hwy. and Featherstone Rd. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a brandishing. The investigation revealed the victim, a 22-year-old woman, was driving on Richmond Hwy. when she and a female passenger were involved in a road rage incident with the driver of a Kia Soul. During the encounter, the driver of the other vehicle brandished a firearm and pointed it towards the victim. The victim was able to separate from the other vehicle shortly after and contacted the police. At no time were shots fired during the incident. The driver was only described as a bald heavyset male.
• Residential Burglary – On August 8, 2022 at 6:06PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 1500 block of Jato Ct. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed the home was burglarized sometime between 8:30AM and 6:30PM on August 6. Entry was made into the home through a basement door that was found damaged. A computer and two cell phones were reported missing. During the investigation, officers were informed later that evening that the laptop was located nearby.
ARRESTS
• Possession of a Firearm on School Grounds – On August 9, 2022 at 2:38PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to Covington Harper Elementary School located at 2500 River Heritage Blvd. in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a weapon on school property. The investigation revealed the security resident at the school, later identified as the accused, was in possession of firearms and firearm parts while on school grounds. Officers located and took possession of the property without incident. While investigating the incident, officers determined at no point was the firearm brandished or fired on school grounds. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Robert WILSON Jr., was arrested.
