The US Transportation Security Agency (TSA) reports that its officers discovered a record breaking 81 firearms this week in carry-on bags around the nation Aug. 12-18. Of the 81 firearms discovered, 70 were loaded and 31 had a round chambered.

Pedestrians should wear reflective clothing and must walk, jog or run on the side of the road facing traffic.

Nokesville Saturday trash and recycling site change Aug. 27

Effective Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016, the Saturday trash and recycling collection at the Old Nokesville Elementary School will move to the new Nokesville School located at 12375 Aden Road.
