Parts of I-95 in PWC will be closed Sunday thru Thursday nights until Fall

Beginning Sunday night, April 28, weather permitting, a portion of the northbound and southbound I-95 general purpose lanes in Prince William County will have nighttime single- and double-lane closures until late fall.

An Active Shooter is an individual actively engaged in killing or attempting to kill people. In a confined and populated area, active shooter situations are unpredictable and evolve quickly. Often within 10 to 15 minutes, sometimes before law enforcement arrives on the scene, individuals and institutions must be prepared to deal with an active shooter situation. Virginia State Police answer more than 1500 calls as result of storm

Manassas man suspect in 7-Eleven armed robbery

On Jan. 4, 2017, Manassas City Police identified John J. SCHAFER, 47, as the suspect in an armed robbery that occurred at 7-Eleven (9056 Liberia Ave) and in an attempted robbery that occurred at Family Dollar (9112 Mathis Ave). Both incidents took place between 7:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. on Jan. 3, 3017. SCHAFER was arrested without incident at his residence, located at 8887 Grant Ave.
