On Friday, April 2, 2021 at 11 p.m. Prince William County police officers responded to a residence located in the 13200 block of Sturbridge Rd. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate an attempted stabbing.

The investigation revealed that two unknown masked men approached a group of individuals who were outside of the above residence and identified themselves as police officers while brandishing a firearm. The suspects forced the group into the home where they were temporarily bound.

On Friday, April 2, 2021 at 9:45AM, officers responded to investigate a domestic that was reported to have occurred at the Haven Woodbridge apartments located in the 13900 block of Longwood Manor Ct. in Woodbridge (22191) at approximately 7:00PM on April 1, according to Master Police Officer Renee Carr, public information officer for Prince William County Police Department.

On Friday, April 2 at 10:05PM, officers responded to the Giant located at 5581 Merchants View Sq. in Haymarket (20169) to investigate an indecent exposure. An employee, a 36-year-old female, reported to police that while cleaning inside the men’s restroom, she encountered an unknown man. During the encounter, the suspect stood and exposed himself while making alleged inappropriate gestures.

Damaged glass doors often point to commercial burglaries, according to Prince William County Police Department Reports.

On Friday, April 2, 2021, at 11:16PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the parking lot of the Manassas Mall located at 8300 Sudley Rd. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a shooting, reported Master Police Officer (MPO) Renee Carr, public information officer for the Prince William County Police Department.

On April 4 at 5:11PM, investigators with the Prince William County Police Department's Crash Investigation Unit responded to the area of the Prince William Pkwy and University Blvd in Manassas (20110) to investigate a crash.

U.S. Congressmen Gerald E. Connolly (D-VA), Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA), and Don Beyer (D-VA) have introduced legislation to designate the “September 11th National Memorial Trail.” The Secretary of Interior would be authorized to designate a tour route to link the National September 11th Memorial and Museum in New York City, the Pentagon Memorial in Arlington, Va., and the Flight 93 National Memorial in Somerset County, Pa.
