Today, April 29, the remaining suspect sought in connection to the April 2 fatal shooting that occurred outside of the Manassas Mall located on Sudley Rd in the Manassas area of Prince William County, was arrested, according to a report from First Sgt. Jonathan Perok, spokesman for the Prince William County Police Department.

A woman, 24, was allegedly struck several times, had her throat grabbed and was kicked after she fell to the ground during a verbal altercation in Lake Ridge. A family member took her to the hospital. While investigating, officers located a man who initially falsely identified himself to them and was later identified as the accused.

Prince William County Police officers responded to the Woodbridge Station Apartments located in the 13600 block of Hornet Way in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an assault, last Friday, April 16, 2021 at 4:51PM. Now police are looking for a suspect.

On April 21 at 1:40PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the area of Tartan Hills Pkwy and Correen Hills Dr. in Bristow (20136) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 55-year-old woman, reported to police that while walking in the above area, an unknown man approached her from the opposite direction. When the victim turned, facing away from the sidewalk to tend to her dog, the man assaulted the victim and made a brief comment before continuing to run on the sidewalk.

On April 21 at 12:18PM, Prince William County police officers responded to the Sunoco located at 1200 Annapolis Way in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 90-year-old woman, reported to police that while at the gas pumps, four unknown individuals approached her vehicle. One of the suspects demanded the victim’s keys and her purse before pushing her to the ground. The four suspects then fled the area in the vehicle.

Prince William County Public Schools will receive the U.S. Department of Education’s 2021 Green Ribbon School District Sustainability Award--one of only five U.S.school districts to earn the award in 2021.

On April 20, homicide detectives from the Prince William County Police Department identified the suspects sought in connection with the fatal shooting that occurred on April 2 outside of the Manassas Mall located on Sudley Rd in the Manassas area of Prince William County.
