Burbidge, Catholic Diocese of Arlington, will join Christendom College in leading the annual March for Life down Constitution Avenue towards the U.S. Supreme Court. As in past years, parishioners from most of the Diocese’s 70 parishes will also take to the streets in Washington on behalf of the right to life.

On Thursday, Jan. 20, 2022 the suspect sought in connection to the murder that occurred at the Raven Crest Apartments located in the 8100 block of Cobden Ct in Manassas on January 17 was arrested. The accused, identified as Maquan Omari MCCRAY, turned himself in at the Prince William-Manassas Regional Adult Detention Center.

On Monday, Jan. 17, 2022 at 10:22AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Raven Crest Apartments located in the 8100 block of Cobden Ct in Manassas (20109) to investigate a shooting.

The investigation revealed that the accused and two family members were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the altercation, the accused grabbed one of the family members, a 43-year-old woman, and threw her on the floor before striking her with brass knuckles. While on the floor, the accused then got on top of the victim and grabbed her throat.

Prince William Fire and Rescue units were dispatched to the 15000 block of Weathervane Terrace (Woodbridge) for a report of a fire inside a 10-unit residential condominium, according to Matt Smolsky, Deputy Chief.The Fire Marshal’s Office determined the cause was an unattended candle.
