On November 1 at 2:32AM, officers responded to the Coverstone Apartments located in the 7000 block of Keara Ct. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a rape.

On October 25, detectives with the Violent Crimes Unit obtained additional information that led to the identity of the suspect sought in connection to the shooting incident that was reported to have occurred in the 12800 block of Island House Lp. in Woodbridge (22192) on October 17.

On the day before Halloween, an unknown dressed in a gray hoodie and also wearing a dark-colored baseball type hat, black glasses and gloves, entered the BB&T Bank located at 16541 River Ridge Blvd in Woodbridge and handed a note to a teller.

The Prince William Human Rights Commission is now accepting nominations for its annual Human Rights Awards to honor individuals, schools, community groups and businesses for outstanding accomplishments toward the advancement of human rights. Nominations due by Dec. 2.

In July 2019, detectives with the Special Victims Unit began an investigation into sexual abuse committed in the Haymarket (20169) area of Prince William County between August 2007 and November 2008.

On October 26, the suspect sought in connection to the brandishing that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in 2800 block of Woodmark Dr. in Woodbridge (22191) on October 20 was arrested.

Detectives with the Prince William County Police Department's Homicide Unit have identified the man killed in the shooting that occurred in the 2300 block of Briar Rose Ln in Woodbridge (22192) on October 21.

During the encounter, the victim was struck several times in the head and face and transported to an area hospital with significant injuries.
