Man suspected of brandishing a firearm in Woodbridge neighborhood turns himself in

Brandishing a Firearm *ARREST – On October 26, the suspect sought in connection to the brandishing that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in 2800 block of Woodmark Dr. in Woodbridge (22191) on October 20 was arrested. The accused, Carl Tajon MOORE, turned himself in to police without incident.

Brandishing a Firearm [Previously Released] – On October 20 at 3:30AM, officers responded to the Potomac Ridge apartments located in the 2800 block of Woodmark Dr. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a fight. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 31-year-old man, and an unknown man, later identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused entered his nearby residence and returned with a long gun which he then brandished towards the victim. The victim then produced his own weapon and pointed it towards the accused. After a short time, the parties separated without any shots being fired. The suspect attempted to hide the weapon under a vehicle in the parking lot which was later located by officers. The victim left the area and the police were contacted. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Carl Tajon MOORE. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.
