County police investigate fatal crash Jan. 31 in Woodbridge

On January 31 at 6:06PM, investigators from the Prince William County Police Department's Crash Investigation Unit responded to the area of Rippon Blvd near Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a crash involving a pedestrian.

Suspect in Dec. 9 shooting in Woodbridge arrested in New York

On January 31, detectives with the Violent Crimes Bureau received a tip from Crime Solvers which lead to the arrest of Mohammad Ekram SHERDIL by members of the US Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force and NYPD detectives in New York. The accused was wanted for a shooting which occurred in the 3500 block of Forestdale Ave in Woodbridge on December 9. The accused remains in custody in New York pending extradition back to Virginia.
