Adopt-A- Stream program in PWC to go on as usual, despite state budget cuts

Despite Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) budget cuts to support the Adopt-A- Stream program statewide, the Prince William Soil & Water Conservation District is continuing the program at the local level, according to its February Watershed newsletter.

Prince William District will continue to work with other partners to make sure that cleanup volunteers still have all the support they need for their cleanup supplies and trash removal.

The newsletter said the District looks forward to having a stronger working relationship with its volunteers in Prince William County and to keep the streams in our community clean.
