Rising ninth graders and high school students interested in the HVAC field are invited to attend an open house on Saturday, Feb. 13 at the Woodbridge campus of NOVA from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Don't worry about college loans. PWC Schools have an arrangement with NOVA for students to have their college fees paid by the school system.

Manassas Park Community Center pool to be closed for Feb. 6 swim meet

Due to the inclement weather from last week, a swim meet has been rescheduled to use the pool this Saturday, February 6th, from 5:30pm until closing. The pool and hot tub will be closed during this time.

Free hands-on workshops for kids at NOVA’s Global Learning Center at Manassas Mall

Northern Virginia Community College will present a series of free STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) learning events for students of assorted ages with hands-on lessons at NOVA’s Global Learning Center in the Manassas Mall, 8300 Sudley Road, Manassas. Precautionary evacuation at Mullen Elementary in Manassas

The sound of a fire alarm sent Mullen Elementary School staff and students outside this morning in Manassas. After the precautionary evacuation, fire officials determined that steam in the school's kitchen had set off the alarm. All are safe and back in class, according to a news release from Prince William County Schools.
