ATCC broke ground on a new state-of-the-art biosafety laboratory in Brestsville District.

Gov. Glenn Youngkin joined Prince William County government officials, executives from American Type Culture Collection (ATCC), the Virginia Secretary of Commerce and Trade Caren Merrick, and on Thursday, Sept. 12 to break ground on ATCC’s new state-of-the-art biosafety laboratory in Brentsville District. The non-profit plans to invest $54.6 million to build the new laboratory and create 75 new jobs, with an average annual salary of $92,933.
