Commercial Burglary – On May 31 at 11:01PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Virginia ABC Store located at 2492 Merchants Plaza in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary in progress.

Fatal crash involving dump truck and sedan at US 29 and Lake Manassas Drive

Southbound Lee Hwy and Lake Manassas Dr in Gainesville, VA are expected to be closed for an extended period of time due to a fatal crash between a dump truck and a sedan. Northbound Lee Hwy is expected to reopen as soon as the roadway is cleared, according to Prince William County Police. Please avoid the area and use alternate routes, police said.

Firefighters douse kitchen fire at Margate Ct. apartment on Memorial Day around 4 p.m.

Firefighters discovered a kitchen fire in one of the apartment units on Monday, May 30th at 4:09 p.m., after their units were dispatched to a fire located in the 7500 block of Margate Court in Manassas.

PWC Police close part of Golansky Blvd. due to homicide investigation

Golansky Blvd is in Woodbridge is currently closed between Smoketown Rd and 3171 Golansky Blvd (AutoSpa) due to Prince William County Police Department investigation of a homicide that occurred early May 30. A police spokesman identified the victim involved in the homicide in the 3000 block of Golansky Blvd in Woodbridge as Johnnie Pablito KAMARA of Maryland.
