Virginia Department of Transportation is conducting four public meetings to seek input on the Tier 2 Environmental Assessment for improvements on Interstate 66 outside the Capital Beltway (I-495) and US Route 15 in Prince William County, as well as revised design concepts reducing project impacts.
Roger Ramsammy, provost at the Manassas Campus of Northern Virginia Community College,has been appointed to the American Association of Community Colleges Commission on Academic, Student and Community Development. The higher education association is headquartered in Washington, D.C.

Manassas City Police made another arrest as part of “Operation Broken Heart”, a collaborative effort that involves local, state, and federal authorities targeting sexual predators and traffickers during April and May of 2015.
Prince William County School Board named the county's 12th high school for State Senator Charles J. Colgan, Sr. at its meeting on May 20. Senator Colgan was lauded by Board members for his dedication to public service, for his statesmanship, and advocacy for public education.
