PWC Police make arrest in connection with Jan. 9. 2025 shooting.

At approximately 10:25AM on August 3, 2015, Manassas City Police responded to the area of Sudley Rd and Digges Rd for a report of a struck pedestrian, according to a city police report.

It’s official. According to a proclamation by Governor Terence R. McAuliffe, Aug. 2-8 is Farmers’ Market Week in Virginia. In the proclamation, Governor McAuliffe says that farmers’ market in Virginia have grown dramatically, from 88 markets in 2006 to nearly 250 in 2015.

Dominion Virginia Power will broaden the funding and scope of its EnergyShare program to provide financial assistance, weatherization services and educational outreach to more qualifying customers, including people living with disabilities and military veterans facing financial hardships. Legislation enacted during the 2015 General Assembly (Senate Bill 1319) combined the three existing sales tax holidays into one, three-day holiday in August. The legislation took effect on July 1, 2015.

American Red Cross urges blood donors to give in the final weeks of summer to help prevent a blood shortage. Donations are needed now to help ensure blood is available for patients in need. Donors with types AB, O negative, B negative and A negative blood are especially encouraged to donate.
