Tickets to ride the Dec. 12 Virginia Railway Express (VRE) Santa trains go on sale at 9 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 23 at http://www.vrespecialevents.org and select vendor locations. In 2014 all tickets sold out online in eight minutes and within 1 ½ hours at vendor locations even though VRE added one more train to the Manassas line and placed restrictions on ticket sales.
