PWC Police make arrest in connection with Jan. 9. 2025 shooting.
Heroin, along with other drugs, has caused an increase in overdoses and deaths here in Prince William County. Join Supervisor Jeanine Lawson, the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), and Prince William Police to learn how to combat the dangers of drug abuse in our community. Lawson's town hall meeting will be held Tuesday, May 24 at 7 p.m. at Patriot High School Auditorium, 10504 Kettle Run Rd, Nokesville.

Prince William County Public Schools staff is studying and assessing how the new transgender guidance from the federal Departments of Education and Justice, in conjunction with other current legal developments, may affect Prince William County Public Schools and all school systems across the nation.
Parents are reminded that all students entering sixth grade in Prince William County Public Schools this fall must present proof that they have had a booster dose of the tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (Tdap) vaccine before entering the sixth grade.

Congresswoman Barbara Comstock (VA-10) issued the following statement after H.R. 1150, the Frank R. Wolf International Religious Freedom Act, a bill that she cosponsored, passed the House May 16 unanimously.
Ellen M. Purdy. a member of the Manassas School Board since July 2012, has announced her resignation from her position, effective July 1, 2016. The Board will have 45 days from the date of Purdy’s departure to fill the vacancy with a provisional appointment.
Autobahn Indoor Speedway is now open at Manassas Mall, according to Kelly GIlfether, marketing manager. The speedway is the first all-electric indoor race kart facility in Prince William County, she added. These F1 inspired karts reach speeds of up to 50 mph for ages 13 and older. Junior karts are available for racers who are at least 48" tall, and 8-12 years old.

Other notable indications to the striking vehicle could include damage to vehicle’s windshield, hood, left amber light, and/or left front-end damage or missing plastic wheel well parts.
