On April 27, 2024 Prince William County Police Department crash investigators report they obtained arrest warrants for the driver of the truck who was involved in the fatal collision with a motorcycle rider that occurred in the area of Richmond Hwy. and Pine Bluff Dr. in Dumfries (22026) on April 24, 2024.
Kindergarten registration for children attending Fauquier County Public Schools will be held April 13-17, 2015. Children who are 5 years of age on or before September 30, 2015, are eligible for kindergarten.
The new date for the Manassas Education Foundation's Expo is Thursday, March 26. The foundation will host its fourth annual “Stand Strong 4 Education” event from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Mayfield Intermediate School, 9400 Mayfield Court.

Attorney General Mark R. Herring March 11 has expanded his Community Outreach program that, for the first time ever, will put a community outreach coordinator from the Office of Attorney General in every region of the state, including Northern Virginia, Fredericksburg, and the upper Shenandoah Valley.

Something new is coming for PRTC's I-66 commuters. Starting March 23, PRTC's OmniRide commuter buses will be authorized to drive on the paved shoulders in specific areas of I-66 inside the Beltway when the regular lanes are highly congested as part of a Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) one-year pilot program.
Prince William Committee of 100 will host its monthly dinner and program on Thursday, March 19 at the Wyndham Garden, 10800 Vandor Lane, Manassas, VA. Networking begins at 6:30 p.m.; dinner 7 p.m. and the program begins at 7:45 p.m. The program will examine budgetary challenges that ensue from the competing importance of the tax rate and funding critical needs in Prince William County.
