PWC Police investigate two incidents March 26 that resulted in strangulation charges.
Greater Prince William Community Health Center invites the public to its Community Health Fair, Aug. 13-14, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., at its Woodbridge location, 4379 Ridgewood Center Drive. It’s official. According to a proclamation by Governor Terence R. McAuliffe, Aug. 2-8 is Farmers’ Market Week in Virginia. In the proclamation, Governor McAuliffe says that farmers’ market in Virginia have grown dramatically, from 88 markets in 2006 to nearly 250 in 2015.
Dominion Virginia Power will broaden the funding and scope of its EnergyShare program to provide financial assistance, weatherization services and educational outreach to more qualifying customers, including people living with disabilities and military veterans facing financial hardships. The expansion begins Sept. 1.

July 31 in federal district court in Danville, Judge Jackson Kiser ruled from the bench that he will dissolve his 2001 injunction that had allowed the Sons of Confederate Veterans (SCV) to place the confederate battle flag on certain specialty license plates in Virginia.
