On April 29, 2024, the remaining suspect, identified as Patrick DIAZ PINA, who was sought in connection to the assault that was reported on June 12, 2023, was arrested in Fairfax County.

Bus assignments and schedules are being reworked to better address the needs of all Gravely students. Revised schedules will be sent home with students today, Wednesday, Sept. 9, and will take effect this Friday (Sept.11).

Several nighttime work zones will be active on northbound and southbound Interstate 95 this week in the Fredericksburg area, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). I-95 travelers are advised to use US 1 or US 301 to avoid delays. Message boards on I-95 will provide advance notice of lane closures and detour routes.
