PWC Police make arrest in connection with Jan. 9. 2025 shooting.

On September 23 at 8:27AM, officers responded to Tim’s River Shore located at 1510 Cherry Hill Rd. in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a burglary.

Prince William County Demographer Brian Engelmann has announced that workers from the US Census Bureau will be in the field doing some preliminary work through the middle of October. The canvassers need to go out to specific neighborhoods to verify the addresses that can’t be determined by using GIS maps, Engelmann said. “The canvassers will ask a few questions to verify the address and inquire about any additional living quarters on the property for inclusion in the Census process.”

On September 23 at 9:51PM, Prince William County Police Department officers responded to a residence located in the 1300 block of E St in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shooting. When officers arrived at the home, they located an adult man suffering from gunshot wounds inside the home.

On September 24 at 3:51AM, officers responded to the 3100 block of Chesapeake Dr in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a shooting.

On September 21 at 9:36AM, officers responded to the Prince William-Manassas Regional Adult Detention Center (ADC) located at 9320 Lee Ave in Manassas (20110) to investigate an unconscious inmate.
