Update - Shooting Investigation *ARREST – On March 19, the suspect sought in connection to the shooting that was reported to have occurred at the Babylon Café located at 3081 Golansky Blvd. in Woodbridge (22192) on Jan. 23, 2021 was arrested, according to Ofc. Wade Dickinson, public information office for Prince William County Police Department.

COVID-19: UVA School of Medicine launches virtual town halls starting March 22 at 8 p.m.

Under the auspices of the University School of Medicine, 50+ scientific experts from across the United States, including virologists, infectious disease specialists and medical doctors, are launching a virtual town hall series beginning March 22 (and continuing on on March 24, 25, 26 and 30) to answer the public’s questions about the COVID-19 vaccines. The first town hall begins tonight at 8 p.m. and will run about 45 minutes.

Information about a project to realign Old Bridge Road at Occoquan Rd. will be posted on Prince William County's website in a virtual presentation on Wednesday March 24 at 7 p.m. The presentation, by the Prince William County Department of Transportation, will cover project scope, schedule, and proposed improvements. Two people and 24 Yorkies rescued in early morning 3-alarm fire March 12

On Friday, March 12, 2021 at 7:46 a.m. City of Manassas Fire and Rescue units, along with units from Manassas Park and Prince William County, rescued one male standing outside a second story window on an awning at 9229 Byrd Drive. While the emergency crews were on the premises, 24 Yorkies were located within the residence and seized by Manassas City Animal Control Officers pending further investigation.

Late-night driver, who declines to sign traffic summons, charged with striking a police officer

On Saturday, March 6 at 12:52AM, Prince William County police officers stopped a vehicle in the area of Maplewood Dr. and Rugby Rd. in the Yorkshire area of Manassas (20111) for a driver who disregarded a posted stop sign. During the encounter, the driver, later identified as the accused, refused to sign the traffic summons. After repeated requests were refused, officers attempted to take the accused into custody.

Prince William County Police Department reported that on Thursday, March 11 at 10:20AM, investigators with the Crash Investigation Unit responded to the area of Fuller Heights Rd and Old Triangle Rd in Triangle (22172) to investigate a single vehicle crash.
