The victim, a Manassas area woman, reported to police that she was struck by a family member during a verbal altercation. >Shooting Investigation – On Monday, July 12, 2021, at 11:36PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 17300 block of Sligo Lp. in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located an 18-year-old man and a 13-yearold male juvenile who were struck by gunfire.

The investigation revealed that during a verbal altercation, the victim, identified as an 11-year-old girl, was struck, and forcefully grabbed by the accused. At one point during the altercation, the accused threw a knife at the victim, which she was able to avoid, before the parties separated.

Master Police Officer Renee Carr said that the investigation revealed that the victim a 16-year-old female juvenile, was working when another employee, identified as the accused, inappropriately touched her. When the victim attempted to separate from the accused, he grabbed her and prevented her from leaving before sexually assaulting her.

The investigation revealed that a round entered the home through a second story bathroom window and traveled through the shower before striking the mirror and lodging in the wall.
